Where to find it
Website: Sketches → a sketch → Discuss a copy or Discuss exclusive rights. Sign-in opens the request. In the app choose a sketch in Explore. Find requests under Sketches in the browser or Sketch requests in the app.
Step by step
- Read the sketch description and available rights. A copy and exclusive rights are different offers.
- Choose an available option, send an enquiry and agree with the creator on price, allowed use and original-file delivery.
- Wait for the seller to accept. Pay only under the terms agreed directly. Tatooir does not collect sketch payments.
- After actually paying an accepted enquiry, choose I have paid. Wait for seller confirmation and obtain the file directly from the creator. Keep your own copy of the file.
Buttons and fields
- Rights: Copy / Exclusive rights
- Under Rights choose an available option. Several people can buy copies of a design. Selling exclusive rights stops further sales; earlier buyers keep their copies. Agree with the creator on permitted use before paying.
- Message to author
- An optional note about the intended use and terms you want to clarify.
- Cancel
- Cancels your open request when available. It does not reverse a transfer or issue a refund.
- Send request
- Sends an enquiry to the creator. It is not a payment or file delivery.
- I have paid
- Available to the buyer of an accepted enquiry. Starts a single 72-hour seller-confirmation period; the declaration itself is not proof of payment.
- Open sketch / Refresh requests
- Returns to the sketch or checks the current agreement status.
How to tell it worked
The seller confirms a completed sale. Tatooir does not automatically deliver the original; the creator sends the file.
Things to know
- Buying a sketch does not require having it tattooed by its creator. Earlier copy sales remain disclosed after an exclusive sale.
If something goes wrong
I paid but have no file or confirmation.
Contact the creator and keep your payment evidence. If you disagree, report the sketch and describe the situation. After 72 hours without confirmation the card may be hidden; that is not an automatic refund.
